Ish that is why you are an administrator to the board LOL!!! No kennel is perfect and yes realistic goals and high standards are a important factor to anybody. This has always been my saying... " for all the hard work you put in the results  will pay off later on.....I come to notice a lot of people come and go but building a solid foundation no matter what hurricane, typhoon, wind or sun comes about, your bloodline will be built to last kind of like a "blue diamond"....Forever. Ask yourself these questions "Do I have better dogs now than last year or two years ago ETC?. Im I keeping stuff that i have produced that shows off a certain trade mark for my kennel look??try to develop an eagles eye their vision is so sharp they will spot you miles aways same here know how to spot that LOOK or trait in a puppy or adult.Stick to your liking and taste, work it,at the end.. it is nothing more gratifying than someone showing you a pedigree and it has your kennel name all over it... that is when you know you are a successful breeder apart from the respect you have gain from other personnel and the distinguished dogs produced.... Image,Image,Image is very important... and your persona, tact and ability to deal with others also helps... Walk away from individuals that always  bring your visions down..or that constantly feels the need to criticize dogs and their owners down... they lack security................ Ish I believe a wreck is one that has no versatile movement and or has trouble with pacing. A freak is a nicely put together male with great pronounced muscles and a substantial chest. Studying a dog like Slammer to your point Jerry has done a great job in marinating his great values as a dog and coordinating all his traits hence, in return greatly produced offsprings. I can verify that, as I think thanks to you Flame and Slammer breeding was a good one producing Sweet and Low, Halo, even the little runt is sublime.
